whats up guys? i promised i would post a thread after i installed the bb bullets quad tips so here it is... Got the bullets installed by speedworld located in baldwin ny. The owner was a friend of a friend and did it for 50 bucks. They came out perfect no welding needed which i heard some people had to do because they dont sit even. Now the sound WOW talk about night and day. this is the first peformance mod i have done to the car so far and holy crap they sound awesome. Deff loud and the drone is deff loud but man i love it. I think its actually louder in the car then it is behind it but thats alright with me. well being as loud as they are i caught the attention of some other vette owners... i met a hippie stoner with an american flag banddana wraped in a circle tied around his head. he owned a 76 vette this guy was nuts lol smoking usa gold ciggarettes like a chiminey lolz crazy bastard. also met a forum member HI OFICR hes an owner of a yellow c6 really nice car and a good guy and i save the best for last this morning on the way to work a mustang pulled up next to me there was 2 guys in the car both looked at me and smirked like they where about to kick my *** well i reved the engine just so they knew i wasnt gonna let that happen right away they rolled down the window saying the car sounded great and he wanted to sell his cobra for one. Of course he did... lol god i hate mustang owners Pictures to come soon guys i got my tires from tire rack and rims should be here by wednsday. As soon as they get put on ill post the pics check back in next monday...

 

Congrats, and welcome to the B&B Bullet club. I often drive around without my radio on, so I can hear the real music coming out the *** end. My tips were straight also, until I installed a Borla X-pipe to get rid of the popping on decel. So now no popping, but a tad crooked. Oh well, enjoy your new exhaust!

 

thanx and yeah the popping is a bit exesive on decel. i will deff be looking into purchasing a x pipe as soon as im done with the wheels. its on the to do list along with caravaggio spoiler

 

B&B Bullets do sound good. It's amazing what an aftermarket exhaust can do for the Vette.

 

I was going get bullets, but opted for the PRT's instead. With headers and an x pipe mine still pops on decel. I still like them, still thinking about swapping them out for some bullets though.

Congrats!!! Now do like I did and match them puppies up with some LG LT's and a catless x-pipe.... and watch out boy... talk about loud!!!! But man do I love it and wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

 

Can I drive down and visit you sometime? I would love to hear that setup, as I am curious how loud LT's are in person.

 

I love my dual-tip bullets! Sound is perfect. Bullets should have come stock on the car
