Default Key Fob Problem

One of the key fobs for my '99 vert has gone south on me. I replaced the battery. I went through the fob training process per the owners manual. The fob then worked fine once, but then became nonfunctional again...even after I redid the fob training process. Can the fob be repaired? If so, where? If not, where is the best place to buy a replacement? Thanks for any suggestions.

Agreed. They seem to die after 8 or 9 years. Sometimes they find a broken IC connection inside and other times, nothing is visible. About all you can do is replace them. Gene Culley has the best price on them.
