I use 3M double sided (gray) tape. You can find it in 1/2" or 3/4" wide in HOME DEPOT in the paint supply aisle.
Apply it to the backside of the emblem and trim carefully with an EXACTO knife and XAC211 blade.
Be aware that some tube adhesives can be harmful to paint finishes. I've had it soften a base coat/clear coat paint finish. Read the manufacturers warnings carefully.

Ok. That's kinda what I had in mind doing. Thanks alot gents!
Here ; use 3M acrylic foam double sided gray tape #4257 as it is .015 thick . You don't want to see the tape material and the emblem /badge or logo raised up. JVCC is another very good product.
Most double sided acrylic foam tape you will find in hardware or discount auto stores are .045 -.060 thick that are used for general applications or auto trim ( trim that the tape is hidden behind).
A good auto paint supply store will carry it or buy it on line .
I used Duck double-sided tape. It comes in a roller dispenser similar to tape whiteout. It only sticks to the surface that it touches so there is no trimming necessary. I did mine last weekend and it is still firmly on the steering wheel. It seems to work very good considering it has been over a 100 degrees here in Phoenix. You can find it at your local craft store.
