I just ordered a set from performanceplustire.com

I was - close to ordering the Michelin PS2's...but decided against it. The $ I am saving over the PS2's is going to pay some bills. Hopefully I'll like them. They'll be here next week. A tick under $900.00 delivered.

I just got back from Road Atlanta for a track day. I had worn out my original set of Vreds, so I went back to the PS2s I had. 1 - the PS2s are much louder, 2 - the grip sucks compared to the Vreds. Active Handling was on all the time. Finally got better as I lowered some air pressure but not like the Vreds. I will definitely repl with Vreds once these are finished. I highly recommend these tires.

Well, I have a dissenting opinion here. I bought new Vred's 1.5 years ago, and have 11,000 miles on them.

YES, the traction is fantastic, and the road noise is really low compared to others. But, I found as they wear down, the traction drops off significantly and the road noise becomes very loud.

Now, with just 11,000 miles, my rears are just about toast.

I have:
ZERO drag strip runs;
ZERO burnouts;
ZERO times playing with the T/C off.

My front tires look like they have never seen a road... still gobs of tread left. My rears are done. after 11k?? The supercars I had before lasted for 21k miles. Treadwear is perfectly even across the tire; can't see any alignment issues.

Initially, these tires were fantastic, but after seeing this... super-fast wear on the rears and significant traction loss accompanying it... Vredesteins will never see my car again.

It's fairly common for rears to wear out b4 fronts.My S2000 does the same.Lot's of hotrods have a natural camber setup for max trax.

You could try going to the lower limit on the camber adjustment to see if that helps.

I will say that I am VERY impressed having them on well over a month. You all know the weather here in the N/E has been all over the place. I've tested mine in low 50*f temps to high 90*F temps. These things BITE!(HOOK) whether in the wet or dry. I have been in some monsoons and nary a whimper!. The other night, I switched T/C off, launched VERY hard, kept the pedal punched during the 1/2 shift and these tires simply let off a hard "BARK". Same for 2/3 shift. They feel very good regarding handling. Some surfaces they seem to be a smidge noisier than the OEM S/C tires. But they are butter smooth otherwise.

Would I buy them again? In a heartbeat!!

They do go on strangely. For three weeks now, a co-worker has been telling me "Dude, your tires are on backwards on the passenger side, I used to work for Town Fair Tires and have never seen tires like that, mounted that way" PUHLEASE!! I looked all over the internet and every car that runs these, has them mounted the way mine are on the car. I am also quite happy to say that almost all of my wheel hop is a memory. From time to time, it does come around, but I can use this car the way I had hoped to now with the Vredestein's on it.

I am VERY happy with them!

Glad to see you like them I have to admit, for the price you can't beat these tires. Put about 200 miles on mine so far and they are a perfect all around tire. I'm hoping that after some "milage" they still perform as well as they do now. We will see.

Side view of your car with the tires installed ? Wondering about the side profile of the larger 275 front tire compared to the stock rear size.

Thanks !

Don't have a pic handy, but I will be perfectly honest..you really don't see any difference. The sidewall measurments are:
295/35 = 4.1 in
275/40 = 4.3 in
