As a prior C6 LS3 owner.......
I sold my 08 C6 z51, and picked up an 03 z06. I must say I like the C5 z06 much better overall. From the exterior styling to how the car drives, I'm a happier camera. I didn't dislike the C6, just like the C5 z06 better. I'm NOT saying this just because I no longer own a C6. Long live the C5 z06!!! 
Edit: The interior is much nicer in the C6, but it's not that big of a deal to me.

Another C6 convert!
The C5 Z06 just hits ALL the right spots for me. I still get excited when I go to start her up......and after driving a ton of C6's before deciding on my Z over a year ago, I still feel I made the right choice.
BTW-One of my very close friends has an '07 Z06 and has said a few times that mine just has that "It" factor that his C6 Z doesnt. He will be buying a C5 Z too in the near future.
There are few cars in the history of auto's that just COMPLETELY NAIL what an incredible driving experience should be, and the C5Z is one of those cars. I truly feel fortunate to have one of these supercars in my garage.

I have owned a C6 w/Z51 package, an 07Z and now an 04Z Z16. My 04 is GREAT but it is hard to not have 505 hp under the hood!! I do not track or race but WHEN I need to get around someone or something those 505's really do a job. Oh, I do not mod either. Just an old man (67) who enjoys the thrill of driving a Corvette.

He's keeping his C6Z, he just really really wants to add a C5Z to his stable.
Believe me, I love his car too-the power is incredible. I think it truly shows what a great job GM did on the C5Z when folks continually keep coming back to it. I know I cant get enough of mine!
