Received the pull key, wait 10 sec code, then I would get the service column lock message after that. Charged the battery, didn't work, replaced the relay, did not work, pulled fuse 25 and 29, no change, ordered and installed a CLB from Corvettes of Houston. I still get the message. The steering wheel has never been locked at any point and I know the recall was performed as I cannot drive over 2mph. Any tips left? I have a very nice piece of art sitting in the garage right now that I want to drive. The car has been like this for a month now. Anyone have this happen?
Long story short, I have to trailer the car to another city to get fixed, does anyone know the proper tie down hooks, anchors, etc for these cars so I can feel comfortable knowing it is secure on the trailer? Pictures would be extremely helpful.
Thank you very much. I will look for this relay this weekend and keep you updated.
Quick question for anyone that knows, there are two relays above the BCM, is the CLB recall relay behind the BCM, so I have to remove it, or is it one of the two above the BCM? Both relays are grey in color with numbers 2177235. FYI, The replacement relay that I bought earlier in my attempt to fix is black with pn 12177233.
Just went out and had a look at the car, noticed one of the two relays has two orange wires one white and one green. Should I have the battery disconnected when doing this? Or, is having the key out good enough, should I take out fuses 25 and 29? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to do this right and not wreck something. Thanks!!!.

Reason: more questions
Excellent. I will leave those two Relays alone and look for a third. Here are some pictures of what I did.
So you can see that I plugged the CLB into the female connector with the white and purple wires. Honestly I do not know what the K harness is or if I have it on my car. Did I plug the CLB in the wrong connector? I should look tomorrow to see if there is another connector further up the line (as in, if I have a K harness installed). Thank you very much for all your help. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
Awesome! By the photos, it looks like I did plug it into the K harness. I will go and look to see if I can locate it and remove it from my vehicle. I had the instructions from ls1howto with me, but skipped the things that were not mentioned in the Corvettes of Houston's instructions such as turning on the key, pulling fuse 25, plugging in the CLB, then pulling the key and putting in back the fuse. (I don't remember the exact order, I am just stating this as an example). I will reprint the instructions in color and let you know how I make out. Thank you very very much for your help!!!!
I hope this thread helps out a few other people that made the same mistake I did.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I removed the K harness, plugged the clb into the proper connector and it worked! You cannot believe how much my hands were shaking with excitement when I was putting all back together. I had to go slow and calm myself down. Took my first drive in a month and a half. THANK YOU very much!!!!!!!!
