Dear Mr. Absfixer,

I sent you a couple of emails but have yet to receive a reply.

Any chance you have a repaired ECBM for a 03 Corvette that you can sell me outright or charge me a deposit until you get my old one?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Good luck getting this fixed. Has to be a real problem living overseas and needing parts/repairs.

It's a bit of a pain but the car has been really good up to now.
I'm not too worried as it is not my daily driver but I hate things not being fixed.

Still does'nt stop me washing and polishing it though

We (the Bahrain Porsche club of which I am a poor cousin) are taking a bunch of "child care" kids
out this weekend to the local F1 race track for a few slow laps and then on to a water park.
She will be ok as not pushing it.

Not that you are a part of the internet problems that comes from oversea, but knowing the stories I might not open or respond to a email. You might want to mail a letter or call with details.

He fixed mine. I can't remember how long it took since it has been over two years ago. It seems like I had it out and back in the car in something less than a week. He is just south of Springfield, Missouri so if you want to call him I think you are about 9 or 10 hours ahead of us.

You do know that you can use the car no problem with the EBCM removed right?

All you have to do is put plastic or duct tape over the exposed side of the brake valve (where the ebcm bolts to) and cover the electrical plug you disconnect.

Car works fine, brakes work fine, just have no ABS.

Just wire tie the plug so it doesnt rattle around.

I'm still driving it at weekends but, like I said, I hate things not being fixed.

I was hoping, with so many of their customers here, that Absfixer or his employees would be members and read my post.

Sorry, I thought you were waiting to send your's in or asking for a replacement in the interim. Hence

"You do know that you can use the car no problem with the EBCM removed right?"

Good luck

Why email him when you can place an order through his website to purchase a repaired EBCM or pre-pay to have him service yours? Check out this link and this one.
