I've had mine for a while now. At the time of install, cash was tight so I opted to re-use my ls6 intake. But this engine is fantastic in every way. It puts out 503/492 tq at the rear wheel. With a fast 90, I was told I could expect 30-35 more hp. During tuning I asked Doug to make tq the curve as flat as possible, becuase I road race and peak numbers aren't really important to me. But, between 3k and 3.5k rpm's I'm putting out 450ft lbs at the wheel. I'll see if ECS can post my graph.
As far as drivability, its amazing how docile it is, fist gear through parking lots at 10-20mph, no bucking, surging at all. Gas savings is pretty good, at 75-80 mph in 6th, I'm only turning 1800 rpm's. 26-28mpg on the highway is normal.
Cruising at 40-50mph and dropping into 3rd, sometimes into second and punching is a real blast. The only way to describe is, its violet. It takes off like a missle, if you stay on the throttle, you will melt the tires in place. I can "accidentially" do burnouts at 80mph on the highway. The chop/lope of the cam is noticable, but not overbearing.
