Default 98 vert with wing???

Installation looks factory....I'm not sure I like it...car also has remnants of pace car decals... Anyone ever seen one of these or is it something somebody trumped up.??.. I always thought pace cars were purple... I just bought this car yesterday and am trying to decide if this wing stays or goes..

If it were my car, it would come off. Do whatever makes you happy. It is your car.

Congrats on a new C5.
No C5 came from the factory with a wing or pinstripes like that. The Indy decal is also not official. You can search all C5 pace cars and see what they looked like. Good thing is the decals should be easy to remove, the wing is another story. C5 does not need any stick on stuff to make it look good but the bottom line is weather you like it.

You won't find much love on here for wings on Corvettes, but whether you like it or not is what's important.

Those decals weren't on there from the factory and no "official" Indy cars had anything even close to that scheme.

Whatever makes you happy brother. But he's right about the "indy" sticker authenticity. And put me in the " NO WING" collum.

What makes me happy is the idea of having another C5 .. I sold my MY 00 vert last year and I miss it a lot.. the wing, door decal and the crappy stripes are history.

I'm not a big fan of it but if you like it then leave it. Everyone has their own tastes and thats what makes the car world so much fun. That spoiler looks like the ones on the SN95 (mid-late 90's) mustangs but I can't see in that view. I've never seen it on a vette before.

Someone just made up those mods - certainly did not come from the factory that way.

Thank God! I can't believe someone jacked that thing up so badly.

You will have some interesting "before and after" pics!
