Default metal end link nuts

I just got my C6 Z51 bars and metal endlinks (I can't wait to get them in!!) the end links are not attached to the sways so my question is-can I reuse the nuts that are currently on my C5 or do I need to get new ones? also should I be using thread locker on the bolts?

great, thanks. I only asked about the thread locker as it appears the factory end links have some on them.
