My wife can handle the top on her vette by herself just fine.

Default Not too bad
Pull the two latches, lift, move slightly forward, lift up, carry it to back of car and set in place already set up for it. Pretty easy. Even easier with two folks.

Takes my girlfriend 30 seconds to remove-store in back- and be ready to drive! Shes 5 3" Super easy. Totally diff from the C4. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Latches only. Throw driver-throw pass-throw rear. Lift and enjoy. Cant wait till you get a C5. You'll be like a kid at christmas with the ease of operation.

No ratcheting needed on the C5 - just pop three levers and lift the top off. Can be done in less than 30 seconds.

Just one word of advice --- if its been sitting out in the sun , watch out that roof is hot (learned from experience )

Otherwise its easy to remove and put back up

It is very simple, just unlatch the handles, leave the top in place, and get up to about 30MPH and it will come off automatically (no lifting involved)... and you get a Club Membership Card!
