Exhaust plate.
Greetings! I have been lurking here for some time. This is a fantastic site, filled with some great people! You have helped me immensely! I purchased my first vette, a 6spd., 2000 mag red vert a year ago last March. It had 22,700 miles on the clock and came with 4 new wheels and tires and a new battery. Up until I haven't had anything to add to the discussions, however, I would like to relate something that I did about 8 months ago. Insead of using ss steel or billet aluminum for my exhaust plate, I used a piece of 1/8 th plexiglas and painted the background white and added a black Jake using a template I made from a printout I got off of the Forum. It looks great, has held up perfectly and cost me almost nothing. (I'll put up some pics soon.)
