Nope. Works just fine--I just checked. I searched Lazy and this thread was the first to pop up.

One bolt on each corner. Tighten the fronts and loosen the rears.

Now that you've gotten a proper tongue lashing for not searching and making a topic that has been made over and over and over again: please click here for more info:

The best way to lower your car is to install this mod, It is easy to undo if needed.

I do not know what year vette you have or what suspension. If you have an '04 with MSRC, you might want to think twice about lowering.

Jump up and down on the hood and trunk. It helps to have many large people help.

Thanks for the help and the links. I tell you what I find to be comical. I posted a question about shorty headers a few days ago and about half the people answered what they thought, and the other half just keep arguing back and fourth with each other. I did a quick search last night and didn't find what I was looking for so I just posted the question, I didn't realize so many people were going to whine about it. It's like JDaniel said, you didn't have to look at the thread. It gets old reading some of the smart comments that people put on here. Bills was pretty funny though.

So you're telling me, out of the entire list of 163 threads--all of which are on shorty headers, your question was unique?
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/sear...rchid=11159960

I think you just need help searching. If you go to the advanced section of the search, you can search by title only. That'll get you entire threads about the topic rather than just someone saying the words 'shorty headers'. You'd also have the same results had you typed 'lowering car'.

Just as you're sick of the smart comments, we're tired of seeing the same posts over and over again. 'what oil is best' and the damn 'steering column lock' threads are created almost daily. Sometimes I've even seen two or three at the same time.

So your 'don't like it, too bad' response should be considered as a two way street.

The reason why searching is so important, is because rather than have 163 threads about shorty headers, wouldn't it be great if people would use the search feature, find a thread where it's been discussed, perhaps have a few questions answered, and then pose more questions on that very same thread--thus containing all the information in one place?

Depending on how far you want to lower the front, you might have to cut the bushings or remove the bolt altogether...if you want to use the original bolts in the rear and go lower than about 0.5-0.75", you can also cut the top and bottom bushings...it's pretty easy to do...Indy
