double din question... help

hey guys.. i ran across a excellent deal on a alpine iva w505 double din head unit. for 400 dollars. i really want it.. but does someone make a double din surround that will hold that?? please lemme know i need to know by monday

Go for it. That is the best thing to do to update the interior. Many options to get a custom bezel, stock or colored. Don't worry about getting the custom bezel.

oother than the bezel.. is there anything else that i will need? or is it a pretty straight forward install like any other radio?

Depends if your leaving the rest stock. If you are you will need a SOundgate GMCRV2 harness to make the new head unit work with your Bose speakers correctly. There are also other options for a harness, I just offer the Soundgate peice with my packages.

You will also need to cut either one or two support brackets out of the cage itself depending on if you want a bezel with or without ashtray.

Then of course you will either need to make some brackets for the install or I have them as well.

You have many options. Send me a PM with your number and I will call you and help you out trying to figure what best for you
