Leave it as is..all that bling/chrome/colored stuff looks like garbage...engine compartments are NOT meant to be all blinged out .Nothing is more disgusting than looking at a nice Vette with all that Ecklers chrome stuck all over every bit of space under the hood...back off leave it stock....what next mirrows..???..there is one Vette owner here in Palm coast Fl that must have gone through a Vette catalog and bought some thing from every page ..Vette looks like a catalog advertisment for all the add on garbage uyou can buy.
Thanx Pewter Brother! I need to paint the fuse box cover yet.
Hey where did you get the waffle patterned fender covers????
Tim
Tim, the manufacturer is a company called Kewlauto, I bought them thru a vendor who isnt a CF vendor. PM me for the contact details if you want to contact them. I thought their pricing was ok, not the cheapest however you do pay for quality. These are excellent quality and have been very happy with them. Hope this helps. Thanks, Tim (my name also)
Did you make the fuse box cover or is it purchased, am interested to doing something for mine. Thanks.

DIY... JDs00PewterCoupe very kindly sent me the template for the "normal" cover, I then payed it forward to another member. I eliminated the cutout for the fuse box feed, the smaller cover tethered to the main cover on the bottom. I cut mine larger and spent about 2 hours filing and sanding for a perfect fit. The fuse box cover actually comes off with the battery cover.
I painted the underside and then edged the top with SEM textured paint which is almost a perfect match for the Jake...
I like it as I've installed several relays in there and it makes everything nice and neat...
