Default Dual climate display dim

My dual climate light is dim, but when I tap on the display the light gets bright again. It will stay bright til I turn it off and then I will have to tap it again here and there. Any ideas?

You have to resolder the resistors. There are a few articles on here with howto's, or you can have it done.

Very common issue. (I will search for the articles).

Basically, after thousands of heating and cooling cycles, the solder loses its conductive mojo. That's pretty much all there is to it. Resolder and you're as good as new.

Thank you. Mine has been very dim too but I didn't realize there was an actual issue. I thought it was just the way the unit is.

It is an easy project and most anyone can do-do a search and you should come up with something. I did mine and followed very good detailed instructions from this site.
