I thought I would share this with everyone. I just put on the B&B Bullets cat back system. First let me say the quality of the product is very good - nice welds, great polish and workmanship. They were very easy to install. Hardest part was lifting the car high enough to get the old stock system off without cutting it.
My smiles started the moment I turned the key once the new system was on - what an awsome sound!! After reading some posts on here I was a little concerned about "drone" at crusiing speeds, so I had to get the car on the road. In first and second as your going up to 3k rpm, there is a little "drone" but not much and your through it in no time as you go to the next gear. On the highway there was no "drone" at all - very enjoyable sound.
Here is my problem - I have gone through a tank of gas as I can't keep my foot out of it - I love the sound of this exhaust. It like a race car sound as you are going through the gears. And the icing on the cake is the rumble you get when you let off the gas - thats how a muscle car should sound. I haven't even had my radio on in 2 days just so I can enjoy the new sound.
I hope this helps anyone who was on the fence trying to figure out what exhaust to buy - I love this system.
I was at Corvettes at Carlisle last year and decided to check out the B&B systems. I bought the loudest one for my 98 coupe. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 58 years old and my wife is 62. I should have known better after 36 years of marriage. Some of us are slow learners but I will love the rumbling sound of a Corvette/Muscle Car till the day I die. My wife HATED it. I ended up putting another system on that was slightly louder than the stock system and for more quiet than the B&B. She's still not crazy about it but she tolerates it for me. Hence I have a B&B system for sale. Anyone out there interested in this system may contact me anytime.
Add some longtube headers and they will really come to life. I put on the oBX longtubes and I cant beleive how much better louder and deeper the sound is to an already incredible sound.
I agree Dennis, I did my obx with the bullets yesterday, and Im more than happy. The complete exhaust went in in just a touch over 4 hours, doing the front and rear sway bars and thermal abs tunnel plate at the same time. Wow, what a difference! My biggest complaint is I cant take a week off work to go driving around!

I'm actually planning on buying a used set from another forum member later this week, my only concern I've had was with the alignment of the tips - it looks like you can only really align them from the back near the H or X pipes? Does anyone have any pointers for aligning them? If my current system starts to sag on one side I can just loosen and then realign right by the muffler and I’m good.
