I ordered a set now I have to choose the HID 4300k (white), 6000k, or 8000k (blue). Im no HID expert so Im not sure which ones would better suite. What would you suggest?

I believe the most common set up is 6000K. Did you get the chrome or black housings?

Did you receive them yet or are you finalizing the order with the bulb temp? I know this vendor has worked on a group deal before and I wasn't sure if this one from April was ever finalized.

Havent received them yet, sent final payment today and he asked what temp I wanted. I ordered these in April so yes I guess I am part of that GP...lol
He said that the lights are scheduled to be done at the end of month I wasnt even aware there are chrome or black housings until people starting asking about them later on in the thread, Im not sure if I would have a preference really...

ACA originally offered black and chrome housing units. The black were more popular and pretty much sold out quickly.

Good luck with the purchase. Please post pics when you get them installed!

4300K seems to put out the purest white, and the most light of these. 6000K starts to tint blue, but not quite as much light.

The original ACA lights were all 4300K lights. That will give you the best lighting.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought they were 6000K. Does anyone offer 4300 HID fogs to match?

You'll be happy with 6k. During the daytime they are almost perfectly white. At night they are very white with a very very slight blue on the edges.

I couldn't decide which temp to do either. In the end I put Jhonathan's 6000k in my C5 and 8000k in my G/Prix. I prefer the 6000k by far. On the C5 I think the 6000ks are perfect. I definately wouldn't go any higher.

I agree. I have 6k in my C5 and 8k in my Camaro. The 8k looks cool when you look at the car, but when driving 6k is better for visibility.

Below are a couple of threads that go the extra distance in showing the difference between the light temps:
