Default front splash guards

Just thought I would post these pics of my front splash guards I have had on for almost 3 years. I have found some like them, some don't but I haven't had any paint chips behind my wheels yet in spite of what some of the self proclaimed "experts" said when I originally posted some pics years ago. They are modified fron c6 z06 guards. It takes a little work but for me it was worth it. Pm me if you want more info.

Those look great. I just applied the cleartastic around each wheel well. Cant even tell they are there, but a PITA to install.

You should post the info on how you installed them. I may be interested.

They look just about like the ones on the c6 z06. No chips anywhere between front wheels and rear wheels. Need a propane torch, bench/vise and spray can of detail paint.

I found these on a website. IMHO, they look like the mud flaps. They stick out too much.

Default Splash guards

I think those look good particularly since they don't seem to extend much beyond the wheel lip. My car has road rash in the areas of the wheel lip behind the wheels and will not clean up well. This looks as though it would hide the rash. Are they workable for both front and rear (same guard or two different guards) Where did you order them from and could you provide some instructions on how you installed them. Looks like you got a great fit

The how to for the rear is pretty simple. Just search and you will find the info. The front is like I said c6 z06 guards. I cut most of the inner part off and used a wood saw horse/vise and a propane torch to gradually shape them to fit. Heat a small section then tighten the vise. Be careful with the torch. Took about 2hrs per side. After use trim paint. Great rainy day project.
