Default Got my baby back....

from the repair shop today. Had her in because the a/c fan motor was chirping really bad. While it was there I had them give it the " I'm going on vacation, so check everything " instruction. I'm glad to report she's in good health, all the bodily fluids are where they are supposed to be, and her heart is in fine shape. So since January, when she was adopted, she's got a new horn membrane, got her steering wheel lock-out issue taken care of, got a new stereo, a new set of rubbers, and somebody who loves her. Who can ask for more. Going to the Smoky Mountains and chillin'. Ya'll have a great 4th. Save the wave.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. Bought my '99 coupe in January. Have a few kinks to work out too. Hope there aren't too many more 'kinks' - want new wheels.

A/C fan motor was chirping on my 99....pulled off the passenger side knee bolster and the fan motor was right there. Drilled a small hole in the bottom of the motor housing and shot in a little WD-40...It's been quiet since then.............

That's next on my list, well let me take that back. I've got brakes and shocks due in about 1000 miles, then the wheels, and cold air, and mapping and....

Sorry I don't. The shop I took it to had a guy come in with a 2000 and wanted the car set up for racing and one of the things he changed out was the horn air bag assy. Sold it to me for 100 bucks. Such a deal

I have a loose driver's side window I should probably fix before the wheels. May be time for a new battery too, though not 100% sure. Am gonna call Vette Essentials soon to order leather arm rests to finish my interior mods - then wheel time.
