Default Wheels

I would like to get your opinions on a couple of styles of wheels. Never mind the colors they told me that I could get them polished, black or grey. I hope this link works! Sorry the pics are not so good but really tough to get from the catalog to here.
I believe these alloy's are about $100 each

They look a lot like BBS LM's or even i-Forged Swifts!

The "Y" spokes look better to me -- but for color I am partial to black w/polished rims...

I actually could go with either one. I would be a bit wary on the price at only 100 bucks a piece though...wheels tend to be like alot of other things..you get what you paid for. I would do some homework on the kind of material/metal or whatever and how they are made. Not saying you cannot get a decent wheel for a decent price,,, but a 100 bucks for that style wheel....just dont seem right.
Good luck

If they're BBW's they're normally much more expensive that that! I've got quite a bit more money in these i-Forged!

That's a good price considering the BBS LM's go for $770 each.

I like those also!
The price is low because it is direct from the mfg. You would not believe the actual price of Alloy wheels! I will know more tomorrow on the actual making of the wheels and how much they weigh at least that is what I am told.

Please post who the MFG is..or send me a PM with the info if you don't want it public..I have a need for having some wheel parts custom made, and would appreciate knowing of another potential fabricator that I can talk to about my project..

I like the wheels that look like the BBS LMs.....A lot or real race wheels are made in a pattern similar to this these days, and good looking in my book. Color/Finish choice would have a lot to do with the color of your Vette...tempered with your personal preferences...In this BBS-like pattern, I think that gray or polished would good, unless your Vette is black..then I would go for black wheels.

$770. for a 17 wheel is crazy to me. BBS must mostly cater to the racing community, because I can't see most people spending that kind of money when a similar looking wheel can be had for 1/4th or a 1/5th that price, but to each his own.

Where is this sellers info on the $100. per wheel?
Is this a vendor or an individual?

I guess if it's an individual, I understand, but if it's a vendor, spread the love.

I did get the weight of 17" at 23lbs and the 18" are 26 lbs. I am not sure how that stacks up to stock wheels? These are cast wheels that are then CNC machined.
They also tell me that they will make custom designs but do charge for the molds and will want a minimum order quantity.
I cannot give out the name of the mfg but possible we could get a group buy?
