Aiming C5 headlights to spec

Aiming C5 headlights to spec
Looking for help on the numbers for aiming C5 headlights to GM specs.
I have never done this, but guessing that you would park the car so many feet from a wall or board, then measure how far up the wall the beams should be located? Maybe for left and right you'd measure from the centerline of the car??
Any/all help mucho appreciated!
