Hello,
I'm going to look a used c5 tomorrow!
My intension was to do an obd check but
the seller told me that yesterday he went to the
cars assistance and they make an obd reset....
Doing an obd check now can I see something or it
will result all fine and perfect??
I dont think you can totally wipe them out...IIRC there will always be a (H) History for old codes or (C) for Current, which can be read by the method I linked you too, but once you clear them to history if you hook up a scanner to the obd port dont think they will show since its not current..... did that make sense...lol
Thank you, guys....
Tomorrow I will post all codes....
The c5 has 100.000 miles and he cost 27.000 dollars,
that's what you have to pay here in Italy for a c5, not less..
The B0361 code is showing as current and is a common C5 problem. It results in the air conditioning blowing hot on the drivers side and cool on the passengers side. If you can't do the work yourself it can be expensive to have fixed. I would have the seller fix it before purchase.
I'm assuming you are not in the US, otherwise $27,000 is way high for that car.
I'm not sure on that one Jonathan but I think it's just a brake light out in the tail light assembly. That's an easy fix. Maybe someone will chime in if I'm wrong.

is there something bad?
Jonathan,
The majority of the "LOSS OF COMMUNICATION" codes is due to either a Battery Being Very weak or someone has accessed the PCM for tunning.
You'll notice this when you use a Handheld Tuner - a lot of the time it will give you the Loss of Communication RDCM,LDCM...ETC. 1064's etc.
Reset the codes and keep an eye on them if they come back you also might have an bad GROUND somewhere(More likely not then having one)
Have the battery checked for strength and Cranking Amps @ an Auto store
Make sure you keep us posted along the way, so when certain things are eliminated we can move on to the next - follow the Tail lamp instructions above and that should take care of the one code.
The Loss of Communications are usually due to a battery issue. As stated above it is probably weak or bad. Could also be bad connections at the battery or at the starter. If you have access to a charging device try charging the battery until it reaches full charge. Check and or clean then tighten the battery cable ends, the battery posts and the cable on the starter. Remember that one is electrically hot so disconnect the Neg cable before trying to tighten the starter cable.
Thanks for recommendations!
I have not doubt, next week I will take it...
I found cheap replacement parts every where on the web
and a active and kind forum that will help me to fix problems...
After five minutes running with the car, I put the key on the on position without start the engine...
Can someone help me to understand what lights means??
what about oil pressure?
your oil pressure should be at 0, if you did not start the car. A common porblem for these cars is that the oil pressure sensor goes bad, and it is in a hard location to fix. There is a post about how to fix this, and put it in a new location - here it is: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...-relocate.html
