There are some excellent removal and installation instructions at www.vetteessentials.com. If after reading them you do not feel like you could do it yourself, take it to a local upholstery shop. That's what I did with the ones I installed in my '00 and I was charged only $100 for both seats. I did take the seats out of the car and deliver them to the shop.
As for what you can expect to pay, it varies widely. Mid-America's seat covers cost about $1200, Vette Essentials (the best IMO) are $2000 and there are others that are less expensive than the Mid-Amierica ones - and they have gotten good reviews. Just depends on what your budget is and what quality of materials and workmanship you will accept.
