They seemed to be better but I also put in a brake bias spring also. I think there were worth the 100.00. I got the Doug Rippie spring. Its only a couple of buck, easy to install.
This was the first upgared i did on my car before I upgraded to a Stoptech BBK. I purchased mine from Doug Rippie Motorsports and I did notice a firmer pedal under braking. Its a $100 mod and Doug has the best kit IMHO.

In my mind, the only braided lines to have are the Goodridge Brake lines. They are a part of the Brembo kits.
I feel that they do firm up the pedal feel, and they are certainly more resistant to the ravages of time and the elements compared to the stock lines.
Years ago, there was an issue with some of the braided lines transmitting static electricity and blowing the wheel speed sensors, the only ones that never caused that issue were the Goodridge.....they are worth the extra money if you are going to do this upgrade.
Are the hubs/spindles seriously isolated from the rest of the car where braided brake lines can transmit static shock? I imagine there would be no static build up between the hubs/spindles and car as the hubs/spindle assembly is connected to the rest of the car through the a arms, or steering linkage, or sway bars. If not, that is cool. I had no idea! I have not looked under the car to see. That is some neat info.
Giving cosnideration to this in my 97. (original lines) ...trying to set it up so that i can have the calipers powdercoated and back by the time the lines arrive.
You really notice them the most when you get the brakes real hot like a track day or such. The lines and a good racing brake fluid helps with brake fade. Assuming you've already upped your pads too.
I've heard they really firm up the brakes over rubber
Have you added them ?
If only the upgrade is to brake lines in will not be a big diff on street drive. Look to a upgraded brake pad-Hawk Pads-$$, or adding new rotors with increased pistons-$$$$ to see more impact on the pedal experience.

Our brake lines are made by Goodridge to our specs. We no longer use the Banjo style fittings. We use a straight adapter going into the caliper with a -3 90 degree fitting into the adapter. You will find this style connection on just about every racecar on the track. They are DOT approved and offer years of dependable service. The pedal feel will be most improved in high mileage, or heavy used stock brake lines.
Please note, we have had our lines on AP, Brembo, Stoptech, Wilwood, PFC, and all other brands of caliper. Our "kit" fits the stock line, please get a hold of me if you have anything different
