Aftermarket wheels?
I am looking to change the wheels on my 99 FRC. At first I thought about C6 Z06 wheels but am thinking I want something different but still clean. Any suggestions? Most likely 18/19, How wide can I go? front and back?

I bought some C6Z wheels in Competition Gray for my FRC. They were 18X9.5 front, and 19X11 rear.

You can put wider tires on but they will stick out, which is bad for 2 reasons. If you hit a big bump your tires could smack the body panels, which is not good. Also, you will sandblast the body.

Everybody is running the C6 replica wheels in their various iterations - do something different. Also remember that the replica wheels are all made in China and they are pretty heavy. Consider spending more money and get custom wheels like HRE's, BBS, Fikse, and Forgeline. I know they are expensive, but the quality is in the wheel and the fitment. This is one of those things that you get what you pay for.
If you are considering anything like upgrading to big brakes (C6 Z06 or Brembos), the higher end wheels can be ordered to accomodate this.

the replica wheels look good and are a good value for the money. If your pockets are little deeper 
....go with some CCW's, Fikses or HREs to name a few. You can find some great deals here on the forum or just order them new...baller style!!
