Actually - a 9.5" wide wheel is too wide for a 245-45x17. According to a tire chart I consulted, the max width for this tire is 9.0". Will it fit - yes. But it will look stretched to fit the bead.
My advice is either go with a bigger tire like a 265-45x17 or a narrower wheel....no more than a 9.0".
