Michelins have had two flats in first 6 months (non-repairable) - both were replaced with new tires according to their replacement policy at no cost to me.
Where did you buy your Michelins to get this replacement warranty ?

Default Run flat test question

I am guessing the guy who put the awl through his buddy's RF for the test drive wanted to see if the hole would cause the tire to deteriorate and fly apart? Otherwise, why didn't he just remove the valve core, let the air out and do the test? If I was the guys buddy, I would probably have told him to test his own RFs

Here is what I always carry in the car..
1. Z06 pump kit.
2. Tire plug kit.
3. small 4 way tire wrench.
4. A small sissor jack.
5. AAA.
6. Cell Phone.
I think if I was to get a flat I would have it covered unless the tire is trashed.
and all this fits in the center cubby...lol
what no can of fix a flat?

Default Michelin A/S ZPs for me

Switched to Michelin A/S ZPs over 2 years ago and they were my solution - MUCH quieter and smoother.

The Goodyears "look" a bit cooler, but not worth the tradeoff unless I were in the habit of taking 200 mile+ trips on the highway.

I had a total of 5 flats while running the Goodyears (all repairable and 3 on one tire). Michelins have had two flats in first 6 months (non-repairable) - both were replaced with new tires according to their replacement policy at no cost to me.

My two sets of Goodyears lasted 26k and 24k, and looked great, but my 9 year old C5 Coupe now drives like a new car with the Michelin A/S ZPs. However, I may try some BFGs on some American Torq Thrust Ms.
