Question about my 2002 Z
I have read that many of your car (and mine) "tick" alot and I was wondering if anyone has taken thiers in and "had anything fixed" or has there been a diagnosis of the "tick"??

The 'tick' you are hearing is perfectly normal! The Z06 is just like a time-bomb........Keeps right on ticking!! Ready to explode at any second. :lol:

My 02 Z has a ticking noise - I figure it's the injectors.
I had a couple of L98 Tuned-Port Injection Formulas and both had ticking, noticable only at lower rpms, and it never posed a problem. I drove one of those ticking 'birds 134k miles.
I have a budy with a ls1 z28 and that thing makes all kind of noise at idle, but it runs out beautifully.
Since the problem goes away at higher rpm...'nuff said.

Actually this is something I noticed the day I got my car and at first I thought it was coming from the engine, but later I found out it was the exhaust. Stick your ear close to the exhaust and have someone rev the car to about 1500 rpm. You'll hear what I'm talking about. :cheers:
