Wisconsin has had some really hot weather the last few days and it loosened the glue that held on the "Corvette" letters on the rear of my car. What should I use to reattach those letters?
I was thinking about removing my letters and trying a different color/style. Can anyone recommend products or directions on how to remove and then reinstall?
I don't want to damage the finish or the letters if I remove them, so any advice is appreciated.

I had heard if you use some dental floss to get behind the letters you can remove them that way.
I just used some 3M VHB tape (Very High Bonding) to attach some things to my son's car. If you want to get some CHEAP look on fleebay.
I found some small pieces for like $6 or $8 but the best deal was 1 1/2" by 36 YARDS yes YARDS for $10 and about $8 shipping. The roll is huge, brand new and is a hundred years supply unless you are reattaching tiles on the space shuttle. BTW I did REMOVE a dealer stick on logo with my wifes hair dryer (heat gun) and some fishing line or thick string sawing from above to detach each part after heating for about 30 seconds. Use isopropol alcohol, tar remover, or degreaser to get off any sticky residue when removing any stick on letters or trim. BIGHANK

Use a hair dryer to soften the double sided tape and then some fishing line to saw through the tape. Any adhesive remaining can be removed using Goo Gone or WD-40.
