I have followed this thread for about 2 or 3 months now, but just recently registered. Anyway, I am a fairly new corvette owner and I have a question regarding the rear speakers. Since I have owned the car those speakers seem to be muffled. Is this normal or are they blown or somethin?
The rear "speakers" on my verte are basically non-existant. I faded the music to the rear speakers just to hear how good or bad they were and they are extremely weak. I plan to upgrade to a DD head unit, thow on an amp and install some new door and rear speakers vs. using a bypass unit to use the stock Bose.
You would think the manufacturer of the Bose Wave radio system would be able to make a better car speaker.
Sorry, I did not know about he audio section thing. Thanks for answering my question, tho. I was wondering if there was just something wrong w/ the speakers that I had, but I see they are just like that.

Bose sucks, to be honest. That Bose Wave radio system is garbage too. Bose lives by word of mouth. People hear the word "Bose" and think "Oh they are the best" even if they haven't even heard their product. There is a reason that Bose doesn't publish their speakers specs, and that is because they are garbage. Bose speakers are overpriced pieces of trash. Plain and simple.
People in the audio community have known about this for years.
