Bose Speaker Question
Hello Everyone,
I have followed this thread for about 2 or 3 months now, but just recently registered. Anyway, I am a fairly new corvette owner and I have a question regarding the rear speakers. Since I have owned the car those speakers seem to be muffled. Is this normal or are they blown or somethin?

You must go to the Audio section, unless it involves an IPOD. 
Then it is OK to to ask "Audio questions" in the "general forum".
Since one of the posts in this General Forum on IPODS has 22K views and there are 2 IPOD Audio Questions on the 1st page, go figure?
Anyway, the rear speakers are a poor example of BOSE audio capabilities.

The rear "speakers" on my verte are basically non-existant. I faded the music to the rear speakers just to hear how good or bad they were and they are extremely weak. I plan to upgrade to a DD head unit, thow on an amp and install some new door and rear speakers vs. using a bypass unit to use the stock Bose.
You would think the manufacturer of the Bose Wave radio system would be able to make a better car speaker.

Sorry, I did not know about he audio section thing. Thanks for answering my question, tho. I was wondering if there was just something wrong w/ the speakers that I had, but I see they are just like that.

People in the audio community have known about this for years.

That link says it all about Bose. Granted, they are reviewing Bose's home speaker line, but still. Friends don't let friends buy Bose.
