Thumping sound
I often hear a thumping noise in the rear underside of my C-5 when I maneuver it into or out of a parking space. I never hear it at driving speeds. It sounds like it could be a cracked major part of the suspension or something in the axle. Can anyone help me with this problem?

You may want to jack up the car and shake the wheel side to side then top and bottom of the wheel if you get some play say one inch of movement it may be a wheel bearing.to be sure shake the other wheel they both wouldnt go at the same time. Good luck mine cost 500.00 to replace and igot that same mysterious thumping too. Man it drove me crazy till i finally got it.you go crazy thinking it may be the drivetrain and big bucks to fix...
