A/C fan problems
On my 99 C5, my manual a/c fans will not blow on setting 1 thru 4. However, the a/c is cold on setting 5, but makes a loud noise under the passenger dash. Can anyone help?
I can feel the a/c when setting to the non recirculating mode or outside air..
I could not find info on this in any other post. Thanks.

fan problem
i had the same problem on my 99 vert through process of elimination, i took out the fan motor and connected the terminals right to the battery but be careful it really jums when you connect power to it, it turned out to be a relay thats under the pass side dash. remove the cover to expose the fan motor follow the wires that lead from the fan motor they are connected to relay that controls the fan speed i forgot the parts name but mine wasnt bad the power term wasnt making good contact i pryed it up with a thin pick plugged it back in and it works fine. the part is a little pricey if it has to be replaced i think it is about 225.00 or so and itsd a dealer part. hope this helps good luck
