01 Clutch Problem
I recently bought a 2001 6 Speed Coupe.
When I sit in traffic with my foot on the clutch for an extended time, like over 30 seconds, the clutch slowly begins to grab, even though the pedal is on the floor. It does not happen every time, about 50% of the time. It almost seems like the slave cylinder has air in it, even though I have been told it is self-bleeding. when this happens at it's worse, I have to hold the brake to keep the car from rolling, and it eventually dies, just like i released the clutch. After i pull the pedal up with my toe, it is fine again.
Any thoughts?
