Default Lowered vettes?

I know just about all of you have lowered your cars, but I was at a local body shop today, and they had a 06 in there. Yellow and so low I could not see the inside of the tire. Do any of you ever bottom out when your driving? Cause this car would not go over a raised driveway lip and not scrape? I get **** whenever my air dam scrapes on the road. Guess I'm just too use to driving my wifes Jeep.

Mine is lowered about as much as I can without it being un practical. That said, it is still a extremely high maintenance car. I cant turn into some shopping complexes becasue the dip is too big, or I have to turn in one tire at a time or I will bottom out. Sometimes its a pain....But SHE LOOKS GOOD!!!!

My car scraped in and out of the driveway even if I went in on an angle sometimes, wife always complained about it. So, I lowered the car, took off the air dam and put 3/4 inch masking tape on the bottom of it and cut it off there. Wife didn't know, forgot to mention it, maybe she thinks I raised it, Car looks alot better, and the 3/4 inch cut is perfect, NO MORE scraping ever! (PS... at least, not yet.)...

Mine scrapes on the driveway and speed bumps all the time, no worries though... Its a small cost for the look! Who cares about the Air dam anyways, If you scrape it enough times it will eventually just go away LOL

mine scrapes alot of places, but you get to know what you can and cannot clear. just kinda have to think ahead a little bit of where your going!
ive got frame rails and front rollers, so even if i bottom the front slightly or center a crest its not going to do anything to the car.
i wouldnt stress about the air dam, its going to get scraped up no matter what. you just dont want to get so far down that you may hit the front frame runners or your actual front end!

my advice would be to get some frame rails and front rocker rollers. real easy to put on and its great 'insurance'.

my o4 has been lowered max on stock bolts . . . . has been that way for 5 years now . . . . it can be a pain but looks good. I go in and out of some places (my driveway for sure) sideways. Speed bumps really get your attention too.

Well oddly enough, my 2003 owners manual has a page on which it says the front air dam will at times scrap and that thias is Normal ? Myself I'm not a big fan of lowering, but I do have to admit it looks awesome. So. . .

With the lower profile tires I just put on, I scrape even on a regular road just driving along (if there are minor bumps). Speed bumps are my worst nightmare. Quite annoying sometimes. But it looks nice

What air damn? My car only came with a black plastic grader blade under the front end. It works really good for leveling now that I'm lowered
