[Z06] Code P0335 Please Help !

Default Code P0335 Please Help !

i have a 01 z06. I was driving, car shut off, towed it back home. ran the codes, and this is the code it is throwing. P0335. For a crank position sensor. car would not start. would i need to replace the crank position sensor ???

is there instructions on how to replace it (tried search, no avail).

The factory manual would show step-by-step. But basically, the sensor lives on the engine block behind the starter on the passenger side. If you have stock exhaust, you may just be able to unbolt the starter, move it forward out of the way (disconnect + on battery first ). The sensor is right there and easy to replace. You will want to have someone perform a crank sensor relearn process afterward (only takes a minute to do). The dealer or anyone with HPtuners etc could do this.
