Having problems with door. Please HELP!!

Default Having problems with door. Please HELP!!
When I open my drive side door and get out of my car, before closing it I now have to insert my finger into the Door Lock Latch and manually lift it up with my finger. After pushing it up I can now close the door safely. However, when I do forget to lift it up and it stays down the part that it grabs onto keeps busting my fiberglass near the latch. Which looks horrible. I used WD-40 but it didn't help at all. Please help.

Sounds like the spring in the door that controls the latch is broken. Time to to pull the inner door panel apart and fix it or go to the dealer for repairs.
