Ok well about 3 months ago(i dont drive the car often) i noticed a wierd vibration in the floorboard of the car.
My 2000 is lowered on stock bolts but has never had an alignment, So i took off the front wheels and sure enough the inside of the tires were down to the wear bars but when i started rubbing my hand over it i noticed about half dollar size bubbles threw out the entire tire, well i thought for sure this was the problem so i bought new fronts...Still didnt fix it.
The wierd thing is when the wheel is turned to the right your REALLY feel it, when its straight its very slight, and when its turned to the left you dont feel it at all. And you dont feel it very much in the steering wheel either, just everywhere else.
A friend of mine said i should probobly go get an alignment and see if thats the issue.
I drive my car very carefully, i havent hit any potholes or anything else for that matter so i know i dont have a bent wheel.
Need more info., how many miles on it, did you finally get the wheel alignment and did shop stewards give you any heads up on potential problems. Many vibrations can occur from engine components eg. water pump, alternator etc. give us something to work with!

Does it feel like it is cycling? Last for a few seconds leave and then repeat? This could be a hub bearing. Most times if you feel it in the seat of your pants it is coming from the rear of the car. Also check the axle nuts for proper torque sometimes they come loose. Also check that harmonic balancer they tend to get a bad wobble in them. Just a few sugestions
I have had all of the above happen.I do drive my car everyday so I get my share of repairs.
i've got the same thing happened but i'm at 160k lol.
personally I was thinking front wheel bearing - but was going to try an alignment first - seems it happened after a trip to hell in Toronto (car fell into a pothole).
have to wait til i get back down south to a quality shop. lol.
Does it feel like a buzz that's consistent and not cycling? If it's a constant buzz and goes away when you turn the wheel left, I'd bet dollars it's your front right wheel bearing going out. Had the exact same symptoms when turning the wheel on my Trans Am when I first got it, turn to the right buzz/vibe got bad, turn to the left it went away.
I know what it is!!! I just expierienced this exact problem. I would get a vibration when veering right and nothing when going staright or left. It is a hub bearing. The hard part is figuring out which one. I ended up replacing them all because I got a good deal. Problem corrected and now she is smooth as ice. Good Luck
