I recently purchased one of the new poly Vette Nets. I spent the extra $$ to get the Torch Red framed one which looks really good in my car. As to the effectiveness, my wife says little to no difference/improvement and I perhaps see a bit of improvement. I probably would not spend the $400 on one again. Ron

I have the newer one and it seems to work pretty good. I am 6 ft wife is 5'3 so it worked better for her. What I did was it insert a wine cork into the tubes so the plexi net sits higher,now it works for me as well. Truth be told,I don't use it as much as I should but it does look good and functions.

Rob, I've never tried the windows up 2 inches,so can't really comment on that. The wind doesn't bother me at all, I was just trying to reduce the wind so the top could be down more when wife was with me!
