I presently have 3 warning messages scrolling across that say: SERVICE ABS; SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING; SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM. Should I be in "panic" mode? What could this be and what should be my first step? This is the first time my '02 vert with 58,000 miles has issued any warnings.

Reason: Added link
I've got those warnings also across the DIC, mine are service ABS, service Traction Control, service Active Handling, Service Steering Column Lock, etc. I only have 29K on my 2002 coupe. I just re-set each time I turn the car on, not sure what else I can do.
At the risk of asking a stupid question, how do you obtain the code? Sorry, I tried to find the answer via search, but no luck.
My traction control and ABS lights along with the trio of warnings "SERVICE ABS / SERVCE ACT HANDLING / SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM" have come on two different times now: once last week, and then again yesterday (did not happen at any time in between). Both times, I was at a stop sign and the warnings / lights came on as I accelerated from a dead stop.
From what I did find via search, seems like I may need to contact absfixer and have a code C1214, but I would like to know how to find the code and verify this. Thanks!
yeah, I occasionally get those. mine's a different code though. mine is the one for pump motor stalled. every so often when the systems activate I get those warnings. otherwise one in every 100 start ups I get them right away. I shutdown and restart the car and all's well. there is a fix for this also using a battery charger or other high current source, disassembling the EBCTM and jogging the motor directly with 12V. the problem is if you don't drive in such a way that would cause your ABS, or AH to activate periodically the motor will seize. the system comes on and tries to run the pump, it draws more than expected current then the thing just shuts down. by jogging the motor you can force it to run again, then it seems to be all better.
from all that I've read those errors are caused by one of the two problems commonly, but you need to find out which problem you have because if you have the same problem mine has ABS fixer will not solve the problem!

I'd like to know what you find out. What does DTC stand for and how do I pull it?
To enter the Diagnostic Display function perform the following steps in order:
1. Turn ON the ignition switch, engine OFF.
2. Press the RESET button to acknowledge any warning messages present.
3. Press the OPTIONS button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) and hold.
4. While holding the OPTIONS button press the FUEL button 4 times within a 10 second period.
5. System will first enter automatic display mode followed by the manual display mode.
The automatic display feature allow you to read each module DTC display function in an automatic display sequence. Each system module DTC will be displayed for 3 seconds followed by a 1 second pause before the next DTC is displayed in an automatic sequence. If no DTC information is sent to the IPC from the system currently displayed on the IPC, the IPC will display NO CODES for that system. At any time during the automatic display function, the manual display feature can be activated by pressing any button on the DIC except the E/M 5 button. The E/M 5 button is used to completely exit the DIAGNOSTICS mode at any time. If there is a communications problem between any system, the IPC will display NO COMM when the IPC is trying to communicate with that system. When all DTCs have been displayed for all systems, the IPC will display NO MORE CODES for 2 seconds then will enter the manual display mode, waiting for manual mode operation.
The manual display feature allows you to manually select each module DTC display function. The manual mode will automatically be entered after the automatic DTC display sequence is complete, or can be entered at any time during the automatic mode by pressing any button on the DIC except the E/M 5 (E/M 5 button is used to exit the DIAGNOSTIC mode at any time). When the manual mode is selected, the IPC will display the MANUAL DIAGNOSTICS mode message for 2 seconds, or until any button on the DIC except the E/M 5 is pressed. After the MANUAL DIAGNOSTICS mode message is displayed, the IPC will display the first system abbreviation and quantity of codes stored for that system, then the IPC will wait for further instructions. The buttons on the DIC provide the following functions when operating the on-board diagnostic feature in the manual mode:
DIC Button Function
FUEL 1 Previous DTC
GAGES 2 Next DTC
TRIP 3 Previous System
OPTIONS 4 Next System
E/M 5 Exit Diagnostics
RESET Clear DTCs
You really have ONE problem ABS, since TC and AH are really accomplished by selective application of ABS. You need to dump the computer codes when this happens but it will most likely occur again.
Mark, thanks for the valuable info and all the time you took to write it. I am copying it and it will be saved with my other "important" Vette documents. It will be interesting to see what shows up!

No problem, I just copied it out of the service manual. Hope it helps.

I've had the same deal as you for the last 2 - 3 months intermittently. Code is the same, pump shut down. I'll check the codes again but so far I've done nothing. Guess I'll have to investigate what it takes to access the pump and what it takes to replace it at some point. I was hoping it would just go away like before.
As posted above, you need to pull and advise the specific codes.
When I first got my car, I was seeing sporadic abs t/c warnings...traced it to the left front abs harness wire (from hub to computer) $75 and that solved everything.
