IPOD touch 2nd gen interface now avail
The set up consists of 2 items from a company in Clearwater Fl. called Peripheral electronics. I sent an email asking if they had developed anything yet and it just became available. It is a plug and play and supports charging of the i touch at the correct voltage reqd.
you will need the PXDP interface just make sure the dealer you get it from has the latest cable in the kit if he is not sure have him order a new stock piece as they are all being shipped with the new cable now.
The electrical hook up is PXHGM2.I mounted the interface in the back and ran the ipod cable through the console and out through the ash tray door there is plenty of cable so no worries. You canonly purchase through their dealer network but a listing is on their web site www.peripheralelectronics.com. I have no connection to this company but was so excited to finally use my itouch in the car and lose that pesky cd changer that I thought I would post here. Good luck
