Hi everyone I am in the wondering mode here. How often do or should you run an injector cleaner thru the C5? and what type would one suggest? I have 13,000 miles on the little hot rod and know than no cleaner has been put in it for the 7,000 miles since I became the proud owner. thanks for any info.
Personally I stick with top-tier gas only. I pretty much only use Shell and Chevron. I avoid British Petroleum (ARCO and Thrifty) because they've clogged injectors on 3 of my cars. (Sometimes you get what you pay for)
When I run fuel injection cleaner, I usually use GUNK Gas Treatment. But I don't do it that often because there's really no need to do it all the time if you're using good gas. I'd say do it once every 2-3 months.

For gas, 93-Octane Chevron is my preference, but I still run a bottle of Techron through every now and than, and then, like buckwheat suggest, Seafoam is great too.
