Hmm, never seen or heard of a Z06 with a "factory" removable roof. Odd.

VIN doesn't seem to check out with the Corvette Action Center. Some of the letters and numbers don't jive.

Let me just say that that is NOT my car. I'm just bored, so...

The VIN # listed is screwed up. It's listed as 1G1YY1Z5X25116403. In bold and underlined, I indicated what is wrong.

Use this to decode the VIN.

The 7th position represents the restraint codes, which should be a number from 1 to 7. A Corvette's code should be a "2". Easy to mistake a "2" for a "Z", I suppose.

The 8th position is the engine code, and should be an "S". And like the previous position, and "S" was mistaken for a "5".

If you correct the 2 letters, you end up with the VIN 1G1YY12SX25116403, which is apparently a legit VIN for a 2002 Z06.

No comment on the "factory installed T-top".

Probably a 2nd or 3rd owner Caravaggio conversion that looks good enough to pass as a "factory" job.

Either way, it's not a "factory" conversion.

Caravaggio does the conversion using all GM parts, that's what it probably is. Seller refers to it as a t-top, which we all know is incorrect also. Another wrong fact is that Z06 never had factory CD changer or did it just say CD player?
