I picked up my electron blue 2002 a couple of months ago. The previous owner jacked the finish. The clear coat looks like it is "smeared". I took all the wax off to make sure. I took it to a detailer near my work and showed him the problem. $140 later and I still have it. It was my first and last time using him.
It isn't swirl marks. In the sunlight, it looks like someone has smeared oil in different directions all over the car. I've debated get a DA buffer and doing it myself, but I'd rather have a pro do it.
Does anyone know of a detailer in Riverside or Orange County California that really knows what they are doing?
Sorry, can't help with the detailer in your area but I'll show you what I just finished doing to the wife's black C5 this week if you decide to do it yourself.
I've been a believer in Zaino for years. It was put on the first weekend. I know the clear coat needs to be cut a bit. Just afraid to really screw it up.
