For placement, I just used masking tape around the edges of the originals before removal,(dental floss saw cut factory "tape" well). Used Dupont 3919S, for stickum remover and final clean-up.

The dimensions were on page 8-793 of my 2003 Service Manuals; I have to think they'd be the same for all Z06, but...that's the only year I've got.

I'll post a scan tomorrow, but the dimensions are:

1. 158.51mm (6.24 inches) from the rear edge of the fender to the back of the emblem.

2. 212.74mm (8.40 inches) from the top edge of the fender to the bottom of the emblem at the back of the emblem.

3. 216.5mm (8.50 inches) from the top edge of the fender to the bottom of the emblem at the front of the emblem.

I've generally found the easiest way to do this is with a little striping tape to give visual references.
