Default Exhaust help please!!

Just installed a Mid-America Motorworks exhaust. Please answer this question: How far down should the tips sit from the bumper? Is it possible to burn the back bumper/melt the paint if they are too close? I've adjusted these things several times already. They look MUCH better closer to the bumper but I moved them down again because I'm not sure if the bumper could get damaged. But now I think it looks like crap! HELP!!

Don't sweat it. I have these NXT tips adjusted this close with no effect on the paint for about a year now.

Thanks Patches. Are they touching the bumper at all or are they just very close?

Not touching. I can slide one finger in between the tips and fascia.

Keep in mind they'll be a lot easier to clean with a little space at the top...!

Well, this is another minor issue I'm having. The right side of my entire exhaust moves! So it shifts on me. I thought I needed to tighten the clamps but that wasn't the issue... I can shake the exhaust pipe all the way up to the cat. Maybe the hanger is loose?

Its possible or the hanger could be broken. There is something wrong with that. I hope you can figure it out, if you were closer I would help you look it over, good luck on it

My GHL bullets almost touch... no heat problems. I just have room to get a microfiber cloth in between to polish. Thats all you need.
