Just installed a Mid-America Motorworks exhaust. Please answer this question: How far down should the tips sit from the bumper? Is it possible to burn the back bumper/melt the paint if they are too close? I've adjusted these things several times already. They look MUCH better closer to the bumper but I moved them down again because I'm not sure if the bumper could get damaged. But now I think it looks like crap! HELP!!
Those look GREAT!! I had mine lined up pretty much like that before lowering them again. I couldn't get a finger between them and the bumper though. Those look CLOSE!! I have the same tips.. did you polish them out? I need to do that...
My bullets touch, but havent had any problems with the paint. I havent had time to get in there and figure out why its touching, it didnt used to.
Well, this is another minor issue I'm having. The right side of my entire exhaust moves! So it shifts on me. I thought I needed to tighten the clamps but that wasn't the issue... I can shake the exhaust pipe all the way up to the cat. Maybe the hanger is loose?

Its possible or the hanger could be broken. There is something wrong with that. I hope you can figure it out, if you were closer I would help you look it over, good luck on it
