DTC po171hc weird
i just installed tpis headers 2 3/4 mids with no cats xpipe and borla straight pipes and removed the AIR system,and had a friend tune it with hp tuners (just added a little fuel made my fans come on earlier and removed rear o2 and AIR codes) and now im getting p0171hc when driving slow "parking lot slow". all other times i dont get any codes. 171 is a lean condition bank 1 code. my car runs great could i have a faulty o2 because its only one side and only when driving really slow. what do yall think?

Even though you are only getting a lean code on one bank, I would guess that is is close. You have described a very high flowing exhaust designed for high RPM operation. I Would guess that both a increase in fueling and additional timing. As a base line for fueling, I would guess a 10% increase across the board as a start. If you have access to tuning software and someone that knows how to use it you can scan the idle and see if it needs more fuel. After that do a "normal" driving scan no "hard acceleration" and see if you are lean there. Be conservative on WOT if you don't have a wideband O2 setup, calculate in something is the 12.2 to 12.6/1 AF ratio. If you or your friends are not comfortable, I would pay to have a tuner with dyno access and knows how to tune a LS engine do a complete tune.
I know that money doesn't grow on trees but a teardown to replace burned pistons and whatever other collateral damage just isn't worth the hassel.
