Default Michaline PS2 question

On there site I am looking at 295/35ZR18 tires. there are 2 listed on the drop down. when you open the specs page you get:
#1 is M# 43008 org. eq. for Mercedes Benz and it measures 11.85" wide on a 10.5" wide wheel.

#2 is M# 05271 and says it is org. eq. for Porsch and it is 11.9" wide on a 10.5" wide wheel.

What gives?

I'm not 100% sure, I'm thinking they might use slightly different rubber compounds depending on the OEM application it was designed for. I went with the Porsche one and am very happy and found the front/rear balance to be perfect.

I am running the PS2 in the same size, I wasn't even asked when I ordered mine. I really doubt the tires are any different, but like Y2K said, I would go with the Porsche option just in case.

might have something to do with load ratings. Heavier cars need higher load ratings, different sidewall strength, etc.
