I took the Ti set up off of the car about a month ago and have been driving the car every now and then with turn downs mounted to the rear flange of the X-pipe. Needless to say it's LOUD!! I'll get a video of the current set up, which was always supposed to be temporary but is neat non the less.
Today I was able to get the Ti Pipes welded. Fortunately for me I work at an Aviation Maintenance Facility and we have Aerospace welders that weld exotic metals quite often. So I was able to get these welded for the price of 3 20" loaded Pizzas. LOL!!
I will not be able to install the Pipes for another weekend or two so I'll have a sound clip up ASAP
You wouldn't think it was anything exotic judging by those welds. I can only weld steel and some aluminum, but I've heard how tricky it can be weld titanium. I think Ti needs to be back purged, to keep the back of the weld in an inert enviroment as well as the front. Looks good!

Yes sir we taped up all the openings and ran gas through the pipes.
