hey i was wondering what kind of mileage people are getting with the different type of cam they are running...... also i will probably be looking to do a F/I setup and was wondering if it would be a bad idea to do a blower cam first then put the blower on?
The cam I have is for a stroker, but I did loose maybe 1-2 mpg. A blower cam is a lot like a stock C5Z cam. If you are going F/I down the road, I would go ahead with a blower cam set up now. Give Ron over at Vengeance Racing a call, he can answer all your ????.
Lingenfelter GT-11, I could get 30-31 average when cruising on the highway. About 22 average with fairly agressive mixed driving.
Not a peaky high horsepower cam, but a broad powerband, and good feel for the street. You can reach 430 to the wheels with ported and shaved LS6-heads and matched and ported stock TB and intake manifold, and still have stock like manners and great throttle response and torque everywhere in the rpm range.
When I was considering a centri supercharger, A&A told me this cam would be great with one of thier superchargers.
